Timothy Wilkinson – Prop Master

tim

With over 30 years of experience in film, commercials, and the television industry, I have extensive knowledge of the film-making process and creative problem solving, and hold a reputation of being highly driven and reliable.

I discovered my love for film attending the local picture house with my father, where he passed on his passion for Ealing Comedies. During 1974, I was distracted on my way to school by the filming of Monty Python and the Holy Grail in my local Epping Forest, which inspired me to pursue a career in the industry.

In the early 1990s, I volunteered at the National Film and Television School, assisting with constructing, dressing and decorating sets for Production Designer Paul Kirby. After a period away from the industry, I returned to my first love – film – as a set dresser and was soon given the opportunity to prop master my first feature film.  Since then I’ve worked on feature films including The Autopsy of Jane Doe, and TV series including A Spy Among Friends (ITV), Queen Charlotte (Netflix) and Rivals (Disney+).

I studied Fine Art at UEL, obtaining a BA (Hons), and hold a HND in Television Production.
